Requesting access and accepting your invite
Matter Leads is invite-only, and that's deliberate. This guide covers why, how to request access, and what happens the moment you accept.
Why invite-only
Cold outreach only keeps working if the mailboxes sending it stay trustworthy — one workspace with sloppy habits can hurt deliverability for everyone around it. Keeping access invite-only lets us walk every new workspace through setup properly: connecting a mailbox, verifying a sending domain, and following a warmup pace that keeps messages landing in inboxes instead of spam. It also keeps the product itself focused — support and onboarding scale with people actually using it well, not with anonymous signups.
Requesting access
Head to the homepage and use the request-access form: your name, email, and a line about the kind of local businesses you plan to target. There's nothing else to fill out — we're checking that a real person with a real use case is asking, not gatekeeping for its own sake.
What happens next
We review requests and, once approved, email you an invite link. Most requests move quickly, but there's no fixed turnaround — if it's been a while and you haven't heard back, check spam before assuming something went wrong.
Invite links expire after 7 days
Your invite link is only good for a week. If you wait too long to click it, it will have expired — the fix is simple: go back to the homepage and request access again, and we'll issue a fresh one. There's no penalty for letting one lapse.
Accepting your invite
Clicking a valid invite link creates your workspace and starts your 14-day trial right away — there's no separate activation step. From there you land in the app ready to work: pick a category and city and run your first search, or read through the getting started guide first if you want the full walkthrough.
Your 14-day trial
The trial isn't a stripped-down demo — it's the real product, with monthly limits on leads, verifications, and mockups so you can run genuine searches, build genuine proof, and send genuine outreach before deciding on a plan. Two things are worth setting up early, before you send anything: connect your mailbox and verify your sending domain — sending stays locked on trial workspaces until your domain passes its checks. For the specifics of what's included and what happens as you approach a limit, see the plans and limits guide.
